Nice Things is a collection of small additions and tweaks that make the game a bit more fun without changing how it feels. It adds new blocks like Conveyors, Fans and Display Cases, handy tools like the Wrench, new food, decorative structures, hundreds of new recipes and many small quality-of-life changes to vanilla blocks and mobs.
The data pack is currently published only on Modrinth. All required assets are included in the data pack and can also be used as a resource pack. An automatically converted mod version is also available. You can download it here: Nice Things on Modrinth
The resource pack is required for the textures of the new blocks and items. When using the mod version in singleplayer worlds, the data pack does not need to be loaded as a resource pack. However, when using the mod version on a server, you must either include the assets from the data pack in your server's resource pack or instruct players to install the mod locally.

The custom blocks (Conveyor, Fan, Chopper and Container) are made of a Petrified Oak Slab with a display entity. Petrified Oak Slabs are therefore mineable with a pickaxe and no longer drop themselves. Display Cases use a Barrier block.
To save performance, the custom blocks only work while a player is within 64 blocks.
