nice_things:container
¶ Description
A storage block that holds up to 10,000 items of a single type. The stored item and the amount are shown on its front, so it also works as a neat item filter.
¶ Usage
Throw or drop items against the front of the Container to store them. The first item decides the type: afterwards, only items of exactly the same type (including their components, such as enchantments or names) are accepted. Other items simply drop to the ground, which makes the Container useful as an item filter.
- Only stackable items can be stored.
- Shulker Boxes and Bundles with contents are not accepted.
- A Hopper placed below the Container pulls items out of it, one item at a time.
- When the Container is broken, all stored items drop together with the block.
¶ Placing & Breaking
The block is placed like any other block and faces the player who placed it. It can be broken with any tool, though a pickaxe is fastest, and always drops itself.
Like all custom blocks of Nice Things, it only works while a player is within 64 blocks.
Crafting it grants the advancement Storage Solutions.
