Nice Things adds new decorative options: 10 new paintings, the 4 unused vanilla paintings and 36 banner patterns for numbers and letters.
The new paintings appear randomly when placing a Painting, just like the vanilla ones. A specific painting can also be chosen by putting a Painting into a Stonecutter, which offers all 60 placeable paintings.

The four paintings Wind, Fire, Earth and Water exist in vanilla Minecraft but are never placed randomly. Nice Things makes them placeable like any other painting.
36 new banner patterns for the numbers 0–9 and the letters A–Z are available in the Loom without needing a Banner Pattern item. They make it easy to write on banners and shields.
