Nice Things changes a number of vanilla blocks, items and mobs. Most of these tweaks are small quality-of-life changes that work automatically, without any new items. Many of them are done by adding entries to vanilla tag lists.
Iron Chains, Copper Chains (in all oxidation stages, waxed or not) and Big Dripleaves can be climbed like ladders.

Podzol now counts as a block that supports vegetation, like Dirt and Grass.
Redstone Wire, Redstone Torches, Repeaters and Comparators are no longer washed away by water or lava.
Crying Obsidian and Reinforced Deepslate can be used as Nether Portal frames, together with regular Obsidian.
Sculk and Crying Obsidian can be lit to create Soul Fire. They can also be used instead of Soul Sand or Soul Soil to craft Soul Campfires.
Landing on a Honey Block resets fall damage, like landing in a Cobweb.
Moss Carpets and Pale Moss Carpets dampen vibrations like Wool Carpets, so Sculk Sensors cannot hear steps on them.
Cats can lie down on Wool Carpets, Moss Carpets and Pale Moss Carpets, just like on beds.
Campfires and Soul Campfires keep their state when broken with Silk Touch: lit ones drop as lit and unlit ones as unlit. They can be crafted in either state, see the Unlit Campfire page.

Endermen can only pick up Melons and Pumpkins. This keeps builds safe while still allowing Endermen-based melon and pumpkin farms.
Striders also stay warm on Magma Blocks, Campfires, Soul Campfires, Fire and Soul Fire.

Copper Golems can wear an item on their head. Throw an item to a Copper Golem that is not wearing anything, and it puts it on. Items that can be given include Torches, Candles, Lanterns, Flowers, Saplings, Leaves, Mushrooms, Heads, Cakes, Campfires, End Rods, Heavy Cores, Conduits, Sniffer Eggs and Dried Ghasts.
To take the item back, use Shears on the Copper Golem. The item drops on the ground, and the golem can be given a new one.
Giving an item to a Copper Golem grants the advancement Copper Companion.
Armor Stands always have arms when placed. A Small Armor Stand can be made by putting an Armor Stand into a Stonecutter.
Saddles and Elytras can be dyed by combining them with a dye in a Crafting Table. Dyeing both grants the advancement Fashion Forward.
Bundles can be crafted with Rabbit Hide instead of Leather.
