The Passive Mobs, Neutral Mobs and Hostile Mobs menus let you configure each mob individually. Every mob has its own settings, so you can, for example, make Zombies slightly bigger while leaving Skeletons untouched.
Each menu also has an All Passive Mobs, All Neutral Mobs or All Hostile Mobs option at the top. Confirming it copies the chosen values to every mob in that group.
Configuring all mobs of a group overrides any settings you previously made for individual mobs of that group!
Values shown as a percentage are relative to the mob's vanilla value, so 100% keeps the vanilla value, 50% halves it and 200% doubles it.
| Setting | Range | Default | Description |
|---|---|---|---|
| Allow Mob | Enabled / Disabled | Enabled | When disabled, the mob is removed right after it spawns. This also affects spawn eggs and spawners. |
| Mobhead Drop Chance | 0–100% | 25% | Chance for the mob to drop its head when killed by a player. |
| Min Scale | 1–500% | 90% | Smallest size the mob can spawn with. |
| Max Scale | 1–500% | 110% | Largest size the mob can spawn with. Each mob rolls a random size between Min and Max Scale. If Min Scale is equal to or higher than Max Scale, the Min Scale is always used. |
| Health | 1–500% | 100% | Maximum health of the mob. |
| Follow Range | 1–500% | 100% | Distance at which the mob notices and follows targets. |
| Safe Fall Distance | 1–500% | 100% | Distance the mob can fall before taking damage. |
| Movement Speed | 1–500% | 100% | Walking speed of the mob. For passive mobs, this also changes their flying speed. |
| Attack Damage | 1–500% | 100% | Damage the mob deals. (Neutral and hostile mobs only) |
| Tempt Range | 1–500% | 100% | Distance at which the mob notices players holding its favorite food. (Passive and neutral mobs only) |
| Can Burn | Enabled / Disabled | Enabled | When disabled, the mob is not set on fire, for example by sunlight. |
| Can Drown | Enabled / Disabled | Enabled | When disabled, the mob's air supply is refilled regularly, so it never drowns. |
| Can Pick Up Loot | Enabled / Disabled | Enabled | When disabled, the mob no longer picks up items from the ground. Only affects mobs that can pick up items in vanilla. |
| Is Silent | Enabled / Disabled | Disabled | When enabled, the mob makes no sounds. |
| Can Breed | Enabled / Disabled | Enabled | When disabled, adult mobs are kept on a breeding cooldown, so they cannot be bred. (Passive and neutral mobs only) |
| Locator Bar Color (Hex) | Hex Color | See below | Color of the mob's icon on the Locator Bar, as a hex code without #. |
| Locator Bar Range | 0–1024 | See below | Distance in blocks from which players see the mob on the Locator Bar. |
The Locator Bar settings only have an effect while Mobs Show On Locator Bar is enabled in the Miscellaneous menu.
Most defaults are the same for every mob. The exceptions are listed below:

By default, the random size is only applied to mobs that spawn in a spot where they can see the sky. Mobs spawning in caves or other enclosed areas keep their vanilla size. This can be changed with the Scaling/Rarity Only On Surface setting in the Miscellaneous menu.

Piglins and Wither Skeletons have no extra mob head, since they already drop their vanilla head. Wither Skeletons can instead drop a second skull through the Additional Mob Drops menu.
