A rotting, undead chicken variant. It drops rotten flesh like a Zombie and lays Zombie Eggs.
¶ Drops
This variant has different drops than other chicken variants. It drops the same loot as a Zombie. The rare Iron Ingot, Carrot and Potato drops only happen when killed by a player. See below.

¶ Eggs
This variant lays Zombie Eggs. Throwing one has a chance to hatch a baby Zombie chicken.

¶ Spawning
The Zombie chicken variant spawns in Ruined Villages. Additionally, every chicken that spawns as the mount of a Chicken Jockey outside of the Nether turns into a Zombie chicken.
¶ Summon Command
To spawn this chicken variant using commands, its namespaced identifier must be specified in the command. Example: /summon chicken ~ ~ ~ {variant:"nice_mob_variants:zombie"}
