nice_mob_variants:skeleton
¶ Description
A chicken variant reduced to nothing but bones. It sounds like a Skeleton, drops bones when killed, and does not lay eggs.
¶ Drops
This variant has different drops than other chicken variants. It drops the same loot as a Skeleton Horse. See below.
| Item | Stack Size | Pool | Weight | Chance |
|---|---|---|---|---|
 Bone |
1 - 2 | 1 | 0.66 | 66.6% |
¶ Eggs
This variant does not lay eggs.
¶ Spawning
The Skeleton chicken variant spawns in Graveyards and Nether Fossils. It can also appear as part of a skeleton trap (see below).
¶ Skeleton Trap
When a Skeleton Horse Trap spawns during a thunderstorm, there is a 30% chance that it is replaced by a skeleton cat, wolf, chicken or cow trap instead. Once a player comes within 10 blocks, lightning strikes and four skeleton mobs appear, each ridden by a Skeleton wearing an iron helmet and wielding a bow.
¶ Summon Command
To spawn this chicken variant using commands, its namespaced identifier must be specified in the command. Example: /summon chicken ~ ~ ~ {variant:"nice_mob_variants:skeleton"}
