nice_mob_variants:frog_feeder
¶ Description
A composting bin that breeds little critters for frogs to snack on. Every now and then it releases small Magma Cubes, Silverfish and Endermites next to itself, which nearby frogs happily eat, turning them into froglights or the special drops of the frog variants from Nice Mob Variants.
¶ Usage
After at least 2 minutes, the Frog Feeder has a 10% chance every second to activate, as long as a player is within 64 blocks. When it activates, it rolls separately for each of its four sides (north, east, south and west):

A mob can only appear on a side where the adjacent block is free, such as air, water, plants, carpets, torches or other non-solid blocks. The 2 minute timer then starts again.
Silverfish and Endermites are added as frog food by this data pack, so frogs hunt them just like small Magma Cubes. When a frog eats one of them, it drops the item listed below instead of the mob's normal loot.

¶ Breaking
The Frog Feeder can be broken with any tool or by hand, though a pickaxe is fastest. It always drops itself.
¶ Crafting
The recipe is unlocked as soon as you have a Barrel or a Composter in your inventory. Crafting it grants the advancement Feeding Time, and crafting both the Frog Feeder and the Livestock Breeder grants Homestead.
