A Realm Recrafted: 1.21.4 Changelog

General

  • The Server got moved to a new and more powerful machine
  • Online World Map now is SSL secured
  • Adjusted View Distance: 10 - 18 Chunks depending on current performance
  • Adjusted Simulation Distance: 6 - 10 Chunks depending on current performance
  • Removed coloring of glow effect
  • Movement Speed of default entities is no longer being modified
  • Removed small buff for players when at their respective Heritage Structure
  • Removed Weather Device (old devices will automagically get removed)
  • Night is now skippable if 3/4 of all players are sleeping

Heritages

(Vanilla Base Attribute Values are listed in the MC Wiki: https://minecraft.wiki/w/Attribute)

  • Players now get a small Regeneration effect when they're nearby players from the same heritage (max 24 block radius)
  • Players already played on the server prior to the 1.21.4 update will migrate to the new system automagically and get a Waypoint Hub, Crystal Claim Anchor & a Trade Block
  • Removed selection of Heritages a bit. Instead of a book players now get a Token which they hand over the Villager at spawn.
  • Players clicking on the Heritage displays at spawn now also get a short message about the Heritage background and it's characteristics/stats

Guardian Entities:

  • Can be summoned by holding the sprint + sneak keys for 2 seconds
  • Consumes 3 EXP Levels
  • 5 Minutes cooldown
  • Guardians always target the nearest non-player entity within a 24 block radius
  • Guardians won't attack other Guardians
  • Guardians are not permament, they last for 2 minutes

Dunesworn:

  • 1.5 base Attack Knockback
  • -4.0 base Armor Toughness
  • Infinite Resistance 2 effect
  • Small Strength effect when in hot biomes
  • Guardian: 3 Husks

Endling:

  • 0.04 base Gravity
  • 1.5 base Fall Damage Multiplier
  • Infinite Trial Omen effect
  • Small Strength effect when in the End
  • Guardian: Enderman

Frostborne:

  • Added recipes to upgrade Tools & Armor to higher tier (Except Chainmail). Upgraded output item keeps the components from the input item (exp.: Leather Chestplate to Iron Chestplate by putting both in a crafting grid)
  • Candles, Glazed Terracotta, Terracotta, Glass, Glass Panes, Concrete and Concrete Powder can now be dyed from with any colored item as input
  • Updated Stonecutter Recipes for Mini Blocks
  • Removed smelting recipe for echo shards
  • Removed recipe for mud (dirt can now be thrown into a cauldron filled with water to convert it to mud)

  • Advancement were moved therefore, players need to obtain most again
  • Bosses now have Bossbars, because NMR does no longer supports Bossbars

The Deep Blue is still WIP and will get more contet in future Updates


Mobs

  • Removed Elder Guardians having a bossbar
  • Mooshrooms no longer have a chance to spawn as the brown variant naturally
  • Withers won't be teleported to the height limit any longer if they're above it
  • Removed Villagers getting angry when opening chests
  • Removed Villagers gossip modifiers for trading
  • Removed Panda gene info in their names
  • Removed Spiders having a chance to place cobwebs when attacking players

  • Instead of assigning Quests to random villagers, they now will be assigned to every Nitwit

  • Added a chance for the Golden Guardian to also drop Gold Ingots


Fixes

  • Azure Seeker Crossbow showing wrong textures
  • Ice Pickaxe having wrong custom data
  • Ominous Vault of Trial Towers being displayed as normal
  • Tag logic og Jeb_ Sheep sometimes being not applied to Sheeps when another Jeb_ sheep is around
  • Shields and other offhand items of random equipment being able to get dropped
  • Mobs getting a rarity assigned to often
  • Mobs getting rarity assigned way after they have spawned
  • Fixed Meteor Crash structure in Astral Plane not generating any loot in its chest container
