A Realm Recrafted: 1.21.4 Changelog
General
- The Server got moved to a new and more powerful machine
- Online World Map now is SSL secured
- Adjusted View Distance: 10 - 18 Chunks depending on current performance
- Adjusted Simulation Distance: 6 - 10 Chunks depending on current performance
- Removed coloring of glow effect
- Movement Speed of default entities is no longer being modified
- Removed small buff for players when at their respective Heritage Structure
- Removed Weather Device (old devices will automagically get removed)
- Night is now skippable if 3/4 of all players are sleeping
- AFK players are excluded from the count of players needed to skip night
- Removed live fishing
- Removed Movement Speed debuff on Snow Blocks and Mud
- Reduced range for RTP to 5000 blocks starting from spawn

- Goat Horn Portals cooldown & duration have been changed to 90 sec
- Clocks now always get consumed when used (same as Recovery Compasses)
- Overhauled lore of linked Compasses to be less obstrusive
- TP actions are no longer limited to players on ground
- TP actions now work when using item in Mainand Offhand
- TP actions (except Goat Horn TPA) now give 5 sec of Resistance 5 after teleport
- TP actions now respect players riding animals and teleports them accordingly
- Goat Horn TPA now only works with crafted Portal Horns
- Removed trigger command to dis-/enable Goat Horn TPA
- Portal Horns renamed in an Anvil now open a portal which can only be used by other players with a Portal Horn which has the same name

- Waypoint Hubs now function as a public (..well) Waypoint system where players can TP to any placed Waypoint Hub via the Barrel GUI

- Waypoint Hubs renamed in an anvil before placed now show the custom name above the block & in the GUI when placed
- Waypoint Hubs now have to be at least 24 blocks apart from each other

- Village name title messages can now be toggled on a player basis with /trigger village_names
- Village Bells (with particles) give Iron/snow Golems, Cats, Wolves, Players, Villagers & Wandering Traders & Mounts a small Regeneration effect when entity is within 32 blocks unless it is night time
- Village names can now be rerolled by using an unnamed Name Tag on the Bell
- Village names can now be renamed by using a named Name Tag on the Bell
- Village names now also automatically get removed when no Villager is within 96 blocks
- Compass Hud now shows a different bar color depending on what dimension the player is currently in

Heritages
(Vanilla Base Attribute Values are listed in the MC Wiki: https://minecraft.wiki/w/Attribute)
- Players now get a small Regeneration effect when they're nearby players from the same heritage (max 24 block radius)
- Players already played on the server prior to the 1.21.4 update will migrate to the new system automagically and get a Waypoint Hub, Crystal Claim Anchor & a Trade Block
- Removed selection of Heritages a bit. Instead of a book players now get a Token which they hand over the Villager at spawn.
- Players clicking on the Heritage displays at spawn now also get a short message about the Heritage background and it's characteristics/stats
Guardian Entities:
- Can be summoned by holding the sprint + sneak keys for 2 seconds
- Consumes 3 EXP Levels
- 5 Minutes cooldown
- Guardians always target the nearest non-player entity within a 24 block radius
- Guardians won't attack other Guardians
- Guardians are not permament, they last for 2 minutes

Mobs
- Removed Elder Guardians having a bossbar
