A Realm Recrafted

A Realm Recrafted is the latest iteration of the Explorer's Eden Java SMP Server and is currently running on Minecraft Version 1.21. In contrast to the previous server it focuses less on a big spawn area and multiple servers but rather on a single server where players can immerse and express themselves.

The server is completely free, meaning there are no microtransactions or any form of pay-to-win schemes. All what's needed to join and play on the server is a legit copy of Java Minecraft. Players can join the server with the following IP: play.explorerseden.eu

The main focus of the SMP this time around are the Heritages. Players spawn at the Onboarding Spawn when joining for the first time. There they have to choose one of currently 8 Heritages. Each one comes with its own pros and cons like speed or attack damage de-/buffs as well as a Room in the Heritage Harbor. A players Heritage is always visible in front of the actual Nickname. Friendly Fire is only possible between players of different Heritages.

Players can reset their Heritage and Progress once a month (resets on the first day of a month) with the following command: /trigger reset_progress

The current Heritages are Dunesworn, Frostborne, Endling, Netherian, Oakhearted, Turtlekin, Orebringer and Moonshroud.

All of the publicly available data packs are also featured on the SMP Server as well as some exclusive data packs (like the one for the Heritages) and a few mods. Every mod which needs a client side mod to work is optional, which means that players can always join the server no matter what mods they're running or not.

The optional client side mods are: Do A Barrel Roll, Simple Voice Chat, Armor Poser

Mods which are only server side: Grind Enchantments, Pl3xmap, NotThatExpensive, Flan

In addition to the vanilla dimensions, the server also includes the Astral Plane from Nice Mobs Remastered as well as a dimension for resource gathering, the Outer Wilds. The servers Overworld dimension is limited to a 20000 square block radius centered around the spawn. Terralith is used for it's world generation as well as Nullscape for the world generation in The End.

• Players have a slightly randomized Size (between 0.9 - 1.0 Base Scale)
• Players are faster on Dirt Paths (Add Multiplied Base Movement Speed by 0.15)
• Players are slower on Mud, Snow and Sand Blocks (Add Multiplied Speed by -0.15)
• Coordinate Hud when holding a Compass
• Specific Paintings can be selected at a stonecutter
• Most blocks have a Mini Block variant which can be crafted at a stonecutter
• Armor Stand poses can be selected at a stonecutter
• Lava Source conversion is activated
• Fire Tick is deactivated
• Player Nether Portal Default Delay is 1
• Nights can't be skipped by sleeping
• Snow accumulation height is 4
• AFK status is set automatically after 5 Minutes of inactivity
• Randomized custom join messages
• Dead Bushes can be smelted out of Flowering -/Azaleas with a Smoker
• Leather Armor can be infused to have more durability with a Netherite Upgrade Smithing Template and Iron Ingot/ Golden Ingot/ Diamond/ Netherite Ingot at a Smithing Table
• Dyed -/Bundles can be crafted
