A Waypoint Hub is an interactable block that connects to a network of teleportation destinations. The block can either be crafted or obtained by trading with a level-two Cartographer Villager.

Waypoint Hubs can be crafted by combining 2 Raw Gold, 1 Ender Pearl, 1 Purple Carpet, and 3 additional blocks in a crafting table. The additional block determines which variant of the Waypoint Hub is being crafted.
There are currently 36 craftable variants of Waypoint Hubs. Below is a list of all variants including which additional block type is required for it:
When a player holds a Waypoint Hub in their hand, nearby Waypoint Hubs display an outline showing the radius in which no additional Waypoint Hubs can be placed. Renaming the Waypoint Hub Item before placing it also changes the Waypoints name. After placing a Waypoint Hub, players can interact with the rotating Head on top in different ways. The block itself is mineable with Pickaxes.
Pressing Use Item/Place Block (usually the Right Mouse Button) while not holding any item required for customization will open the Waypoint Hub menu. The displayed list only includes Waypoints the player has access to, such as their own Waypoints, public Waypoints, and locked Waypoints where the owner has granted them access. Clicking an entry will teleport the player to chosen Waypoint Hub if it has a valid and safe spot to teleport to.
Pressing Use Item/Place Block (usually the Right Mouse Button) while holding a renamed Name Tag will rename the Waypoint Hub. The Name Tag is consumed in the process. Only the owner of a Waypoint Hub can change its name.
Pressing Use Item/Place Block (usually the Right Mouse Button) while holding a renamed Book will add or change the description of a Waypoint Hub. The description appears in the tooltip when hovering over the Waypoint in the menu. The Book is consumed in the process. Only the owner of a Waypoint Hub can add or change its description.
The owner of a locked Waypoint Hub can grant other players permission to see the Waypoint in the menu and teleport to it. This is done by renaming a piece of Paper to trust <playername> and using it on the Waypoint Hub. Renaming a piece of Paper to untrust <playername> will remove a player's access to the locked Waypoint. The Paper is consumed in the process.
Pressing Use Item/Place Block (usually the Right Mouse Button) while holding a Dye will change the color of the Waypoint Hub title on the block itself and in the menu. The Dye is consumed in the process. Only the owner of a Waypoint Hub can change the title color.
By default, Waypoint Hubs notify their owner via a chat message whenever a player teleports to them. This can be disabled for an individual Waypoint Hub by placing a block of Wool beneath it.
The Waypoint Lock is an item that can be crafted by combining one Iron Ingot and one Iron Nugget. Using it on a Waypoint Hub will toggle whether the Waypoint is publicly accessible or locked. The current status is indicated by a lock symbol displayed above the Waypoint Hub’s title.
